TLIA1001 – Secure cargo

TLID2015 – Load and unload goods/cargo

  • These units involve the skills and knowledge required to secure and load/unload cargo, including:
    • preparing to secure cargo/containers
    • lashing and unlashing cargo
    • protecting cargo from weather
    • packing and unpacking cargo
    • completing all required documentation
  • It may apply in cargo securing contexts in the stevedoring, transport, distribution and allied industries.

On successfully completion of being deemed competent you will receive a statement of attainment and a plastic industry wallet card issued by QTLT RTO 40931

A short literacy and numeracy test will be required
